Many past EWC students have won prizes in national and regional writing competitions. To help advanced young writers navigate writing competitively, EWC will offer a series of writing competition bootcamps throughout the year. Our Writing Contest Pack includes:
🏆 YEAR LONG: 5-6 carefully curated contests for grade 3-12
- Diverse range of contest types and topics
- Inspiring opportunities to showcase creativity
As part of our curriculum:
- 📚 Learn the foundations of writing with an authentic audience
- ✏️ Write in-class to make sure you're on track
- 📊 Data-driven insights based on coach feedback to identify areas for improvement
COURSE FORMAT
🏆 Prepare for 2-3 Competitions or Publication Submissions PER Semester 🏆
⭐ 1 Semester = 12 Group Sessions (90 Minutes Each) + 6 Hours of 1:1 ⭐
First 45 Minutes = Group Lecture
Second 45 Minutes = Small Breakout Room
SIX Hours of Private 1:1 Meetings
1 Hour Every Other Week to Review Your Submission with Your Coach
