EWC Essay Contest!
We are inviting students in Grades 4-12 to submit a 500-word essay on the prompt:
"Why is Writing Important to Me?"
Our team of Harvard-trained writers will judge your essay and select the winners by October 31st!
We will select one winner from each of the following grade divisions:
Each winner will receive $250!
The deadline for submission is September 30, 2020 at 11:59pm ET.
Because we are looking for the best essays, this contest will be BLIND. Do NOT put your name on the essay. There is no geographic limitation for applicants, and you do not need to be an EWC student to apply! Essays need to be written in English.
Please submit your essay in .pdf format! The file can be no larger than 5MB.
Essays that are not sent in this format will be automatically rejected.
